What are the Benefits of having a Jack Plate? - are jack plates for outboards any good

I have a 18ft bay boat with an outboard 120HP DC. The boat has no hull tunnel, add a plate-making do not offer benefits?

Possible .... What it does is increase the engine from the water when the engine runs at the bottom, closest to the top of the best, or will be used to lower the engine if you already have the equipment, which can have a unity of Energy you can raise and lower to adjust the engine to suit your needs .... It also shows that running the new motor on the transom undisturbed in so-called "clean" water or water through the ship.

Could it be that Exchange support is better than a plate of Jack. Perhaps you have not retired .... lotsa seems right engine ...
